What effects, if any, can I expect when taking this pill daily?

I began taking 10K IU of Vitamin D3 two weeks ago and it seems I’m much more cheerful now. Is that possible or placebo? And has it done much for you? I am going to switch to every other day.

I meant D3. Don’t know how to change the Q.
Hit the “Contact the Mods” button on the end of the banner, at far upper right and ask them.
10,000 IU of D3 daily is also far too large if you are upright and get outside still.Your Doc. needs to check the D levels in your blood occasionally to recumbent correct dosage. It is not a mood enhancer, however.
edit: Don’t know where that “recumbent” came from. I typed “estimate.”
Thank you, @osoraro: “A case control study on a population in southern India found that more than 50% of patients with ischaemic heart disease had serum levels of vitamin D higher than 222.5 nmol/L, but the study did not evaluate causation.”
@Aster Case control studies are notoriously flawed as they are retrospective studies. I generally don’t pay them a lot of attention. Nevertheless, it appears that they had a correct conclusion and came right out and said that correlation does not equal causation. So I respect them for that.
