I know if you text on your phone all incoming and outgoing calls and texts are logged on your phone bill. I think they show phone number, date, time and duration.
But what about if you text on an ipod? Will those show on your phone bill?

Is it possible to text on an iPod touch?
Yes, I have an ipod touch 4th generation and I’ve been using Google Voice’s texting option. Seems to work ok. I haven’t tried imessage as no one I know has an iphone. Just wondering if those logs show on the phone bill.
Don’t see why they would but I don’t know all that much about it.
If your using internet and not some cell phone provider than I don’t think they will.
No, because your iPod Touch is not connected to the phone network.
Google Voice’s features are related to data, not text/sms services. I am unfamiliar with Voice’s features, but it may or may not keep a record… However, that usage will only show up to your internet provider as data usage… Unless they are doing something underhanded, all they will see is you connecting to Google’s services.
Same applies to Apple’s iMessage feature.
