Are there any Asian super bands?

I was musing the other day while watching Youtube concerts, I never known any Asian bands, from China, Japan, etc. that was a stadium filler like Pink Floyd (British), Rush (Canadian), Duran Duran (German), ABBA (Australian), etc. I wondered if Japan was too busy churning out geniuses to expend time on being rock idols, and such. Do you know of any Asian music groups that equals to what the industry calls a super band?
