Who tends to have a better memory, men or woman (in your opinion)
Judge Judy says women do. We tend to remember small details as well. I know I have a better memory than my husband.
What do you think?

I don’t think that there is any difference – it’s very much the specific person.
And I think you have to differentiate between short term versus long term memory. Vastly different.
To add to what @elbanditoroso said, you also have to take into account what is being remembered. In a tremendous generalization, men tend to be more remembering specifics like dates and numbers, while women remember events of emotional significance.
~I forget….what was the question again?
Totally agree with the first 2 posters.
This is like asking what floats better: a rock or a stone. Our memories are essentially fictions – applies to both men and women.
Folks who do well remembering shit.
Men obviously. Ever hear a male blonde joke.~
I think women have more memory.
I think men have less memory.
In general.
After all, men have to aggressively support the survival of the species?
“Judge Judy says women do.” Cause when I want a reliable source I definitely default to the wisdom of Judge Judy – _ -.
I wouldn’t say men are better or women are better. I have noticed much like @zenvelo said that men and women have different types of memories. For example sometimes I have ease remember details about something my SO can’t remember and vice versa. (I’m really great at remembering “useless” facts too)
What I find most interesting is how my SO and my memories work off of each other and allow us to remember things we normally couldn’t alone.
That depends on what they’re remembering. Men have a better spacial memory. (They’re better at packing)
@AshLeigh Well, men tend to have nicer packages.:)
That was fun but if they ban me I’ll be pissed, :)
Well women do a better camel toe.
Memories – Pretty much even
Mammaries – Women, obviously, no fucking contest.
In my experience. women certainly have a deadlier memory.
I think it depends on what’s being remembered.
Making broad (i.e. useless) generalizations of gender-based memory trends I’d say that women will remember birthdays and what’s the name of the spouse of the second cousin and every bit of the detail (that you are expected to remember) of the story she told you last month about the… and who is that actress on that sitcom, while men can work all the gadgets in the house without looking up something and will remember exact configuration of the carburetor they took apart last month.
Was at the hospital yesterday. I couldn’t talk very well, so hubs was checking me in. The receptionist asked what my birthday was. Rick had to ask me. If I’d been feeling better I’d have yelled, “Now ask me what my husband’s birthday is!”
@Dutchess_III I’m god awful with dates. I only remember my sister’s because it’s valentines day and my mom’s because it’s the following day. I haven’t the slightest clue what day anyone else in my family was born.I remember my fiances cause she’d kill me if I forgot, but I often forget what year she was born or how old she currently is :P
To be fair, since I handle all the bills and accounts and what not, I frequently have to enter his birthday for various reasons. :D
