Were you at Woodstock?
I wasn’t – just a little too young and my parents wouldn’t let me go.
But I wish I had been able to go. What an experience it would have been!
Did you go? Did you want to?

No, I was in high school.
No, but I saw the movie in Guatemala.
It was in English with Spanish subtitles, so I learned from the Country Joe and the Fish segment that Spanish for “motherfuckers” is personas. ;-o
I was -7 so not even as a fetus.
No.
I was tempted to go, but I was in the USN then, and I had duty that weekend.
I was 5, so no.
During my youth, I always thought that it would have been grand, but now that I’m older and have seen people like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, up close and in clean, indoor quarters, I’m glad not to have been sitting in mud, miles away from the stage.
No, and I have no regrets about that.
I saw the movie that was made and a good portion of the time it was raining heavily and this was an open field so everything was covered in mud.
Sure the music was great but most of it was fairly quickly available and still is.
So the only thing I’ve missed is being surrounded by tons of muddy people on drugs. No regrets at all :)
My aunt went and she said it was no big deal. LOL. She said they drove up for the day. She was in her late teens.
A girl a year ahead of me in high school was there. She was two years old and her parents took her along. She didn’t remember any of it of course.
No, it was in the wrong continent for me. I saw the movie though and liked it a lot.
I wasn’t at Woodstock but I was at Watkins Glen. Not anywhere near as iconic and culture shifting as Woodstock but it was even bigger, 600,000. I read somewhere that ⅓ of the U.S. population between 18–25 was there. I was sixteen and my parents thought I was on a skiing trip with a friend and her family. Sort of… :-) My friend, her older sister and I had other plans. Great concert and what an adventure.
LOL. I should have read my own link. I got my numbers wrong on the percentages. They’re still pretty amazing.
