Can you cast resurrect twice to cure a vampire of vampirsm?

From Dungeons and Dragons of course. First to turn the vampire to dust. Second to cast resurrection on the dust as a non undead. Also as a Dungeon Master would you allow it?

The word “Vampire” attracted me here. Too bad I know nothing of these things you speak of.
