Is there anything you do wrong over and over again?

I routinely heat frozen vegetables in the microwave. When cooking broccoli or cauliflower, there will be a little water at the bottom of the bowl. Every time, I decide to simply pour it down the drain without using a sieve, thinking I can will the broccoli to defy gravity. It never works. Just now, I ended up with a sink full of cauliflower.
I asked this question to distract me from my misery.

Sometimes I crack my knuckles in public, and I always forget how annoying it must sound to other people
@longgone; Stainless mesh kitchen strainer that fits in the sink. $5.99
I keep mine there all the time except to clean it.
I have smaller versions in bathroom sinks and larger ones in showers to cstch hair before it goes down the drain and clogs the pipes.
I have what appears to be an unbreakable habit of walking around the house with my shoes and socks off and stubbing my toes or stepping on something on sharp stuff. You’d think after a couple of broken toes and countless sole-punctures I wouldn’t do that, but…
I imagine it’s pretty tough for elephants to get a decent sock n’ shoe fit these days @Pachy.
Is that what those footprints in my butter were??
I find it hard to accept that someone can just stop loving or liking me, yet they seem to be able to do so.
@janbb; You must have the world’s largest stick of butter.
Why is my mind suddenly thinking of Marlon Brando?
@janbb, I LOVE to tango, especially in Paris.
But how do you keep your feet straight?
Oh, I know how to toe the line.
I Slip into hillbilly speak, especially around southern folks. Ain’t is not a word lol.
I don’t know about wrong but I have noticed that the older I get, the more often I have to look up how to do something if it is not something I do on a regular basis, even if it is something I have done for years.
