What are some good sports bras that don't have the uni-boob effect?
I’m all for firm support that doesn’t leave me bouncing all over the place, but I hate how my sports bra smashes me as shapeless as a pancake!

I’ve found a couple while browsing at Victoria’s Secret, but they were too expensive for me – I tend to buy sports bras under $20.
@Carly Same here. It’s tough spending that type of money on something that is designed to hold up your boobs. lol
I have noticed that many women will wear two bras while running, plus a shirt of some kind. To me that is overkill but I don’t have to live with the consequences so what, as a male, do I know.
A good place to browse bra options is HerRoom.com. They have expert fitting information, lots of photos to help see how it fits, and user reviews. I do value the reviews by women whose size is near mine. Even if you don’t want to prefer from the site, it’s a great resource, because they carry nearly every size, style, and brand.
I’m small-chested, so I don’t really have this problem. However, I wear a regular underwire bra under two cheap Walmart sports bras (designed to be layered for more support) while working out because I like to feel secure and “strapped in” while I exercise. My boobs don’t move a centimeter with all that on, but it’s not uncomfortable to me and they look good at the same time because the regular bra underneath stops them from being flattened out by the sports bras. If I don’t wear it, I don’t have a uniboob – I got no boob. But maybe that would work for you, too.
They’re expensive, but I found that Title Nine is a great source for lots of support. They rate their bras by support, have lots of reviews, and they’re well made and so last a long time for me. (And I also wear an underwire sports bra under a compression bra for high impact activities.)
Wacoal! I worked for them years ago so I am biased, but I love their sports bras. They have a hook and adjustable straps like a regular bra. They are made to be worn as an undergarment. The support is the high side of moderate. If you are going to be jogging long distances you might want more hold, but for almost any other activity it’s great. The bra will last for years, Wacoal quality is extremely good. I like style 855170. When you wear it, it looks like it is on inside out. The smooth side of the construction is against your skin so there is les chance of rub or it sticking not you, but their fit is usually so good there is little is any slipping or sticking.
As a side note Wacoal is well known for great fit and hold for large breasted women, but they also have beautiful undergarments for smaller sizes and they manufacture DKNY and Donna Karan lingerie as well.
