What famous personality are you pretty sure you would love to hang out with?

Asked by syz (36034points) September 12th, 2014

I am so enamored of Patrick Stewart, for so many reasons. I’d love to spend a weekend hanging out in NYC with him and Ian McKellan.

Who are you convinced you’d click with?

Meg Ryan. I like her sense of humor, but I think she has a down to earth side which is very interesting. I think we could have a very fun lunch together.

Michio Kaku. He projects a sense of delicious fun into his discussions of everything physics. Which is, actually, everything. :-)

The late, great, Robin Williams.
I’m a comedienne at heart and I bet Robin and I could have been a duo to be reckoned with zinging around the improv.
Super fast brains with a combined action of a pinball machine. haha

Al Pacino, although he’s not much fun hanging out with according to an article I just read about him in The New Yorker.

John Kenneth Galbraith. He had a very sharp and rather wicked sense of humor about the conservative view of economics.

Hands down, Betty White; a comedienne and an animal lover (and an octogenarian to boot).

I think I could learn so much from this lady. And she would be such fun to hang out with.

I’d love to be BFFs with Amy Poehler, or have a romantic dinner with Steve Buscemi. He’s married, so I’ll just ~admire him from afar.~

I’ve been thinking about this for a few days, and I can think of celebrities I find attractive but not that I’d really like to spend time with because they’re fascinating (perhaps James Spader…).

However, I would like to spend time with some former politicians. People like Malcolm Fraser who is a former Australian politician. He was a Liberal Party politician but now regularly posts commentary about governments of the day and he seems to have become much wiser with age. Paul Keating too (another former Australian PM). I’d LOVE to sit down with those two men and have a few glasses of red and learn about events that happened during their leadership and their candid thoughts on what’s going on these days.

I’d like to have a barbeque with Obama and his whole family and even Michelle’s mother. They wouldn’t even need secret service cuz who the hell would think to look for them in my back yard! ;)
