Should I turn in a half-done assignment?

As I said in other questions, my closest friend killed himself Friday. I have a paper due today (on blackboard) and it’s only halfway done (I was going to finish it yesterday and today). I emailed this professor but she hasn’t gotten back to me yet (not unsual, it is the weekend). Should I just submit it anyway?

*I am really not in the frame of mind to finish it. It’s not hard, nor would it take long to finish, but I just can’t do it at this point. I can’t.
