Does Garnier ultra colour really work on dark hair?

I have really dark brown hair,almost black.It’s the first time I’m colouring my hair and i don’t want to bleach it but i do want a nice auburn,red or violet hair colour so i would like to know if the Garnier Ultra Colour range really works on dark hair?

If it doesn’t work, you probably won’t see much difference since your hair is dark anyway. So you’ve got nothing to lose, except the price of the dye. Win-win situation!
