What have we lost, that you will miss?

I must confess to being something of a Luddite. I like mechanical watches, old-school cars, record players, fountain pens, and regal old mansions. I leave home without my phone sometimes, just to use old skills and eliminate distractions. I work in a highly technological field, and am recognised as being the “computer guy” in some circles, but I will never forget what it was like when computers were novelties, and the internet was unheard of.

In our headlong rush to apply next-generation technology to every facet of our lives, what have we lost in the process? Are there things that you will miss, or do you embrace this brave new world?
