It started yesterday, where I was simply just itching myself. However, I found bumps on my skin wherever I itched. Now, wherever I itch, bumps appear on my skin. What in the world is this? Why am I getting bumps anywhere I itch?

Do you mean you are getting bumps where you scratch?
I don’t think scratching is causing your bumps. I think you itch because you either are having some sort of reash, infection, are reaction to an allergen.
Are you using hew soap? Did you ealk in the woods? Does it look like an insect bite? Are you healthy otherwise with no other symptoms like a fever?
I don’t think scratching is causing your bumps.
In the case of “dermatographia,” the skin starts to itch, often caused by something as simple as a bra strap or belt rubbing, or heat or cold. The scratching itself is what raises the bumps.
“Signs and symptoms of dermatographia may include:
Raised red lines
Swelling
Inflammation
Hive-like welts
Itching
The signs and symptoms may occur within a few minutes of your skin being rubbed or scratched and usually disappear within 30 minutes. Source is my link above.
How do I know? I suffer from it. When I start to itch, I can draw a tic-tac-toe board on my thigh with a thumb nail. Within seconds, raised red itchy lines appear. Hence the name
The root cause or allergen is hard to figure out and requires detective work from the Dermatoligist. Usually it is treated causally…live with it, Benadryl or Zyrtec.
an allergy to something ?
were you exposed to any strange chemicals or dust lately.
Or maybe you are getting chickenpox/shingles.
I got it at the late age of 30 for the first time.

Have no idea. Could be any number of things. Try calamine lotion to control the itching. If things get really bad or the bumps do not disappear, then you should see a dermatologist.
I Have it too. My dogs bring in pollen from outside, it’s no big deal, just don’t scratch. Only happens in late summer.
I also forgot to say… it could be caused by damp in your house. Do you have this.
I lived in a house once where there was bad damp/mould hiding behind the bedside table next to my bed.
One day I woke up with very itchy skin and it wouldn’t go away.
I had to take Claritin for a few days.
AFter that I kept spraying the damp spot with mould killer and I never got the attack again.
