Can Fluther have a card shop?

I was talking with a still recovering Batman in the chat room. I had a sudden idea I fear may be defeated before I ask it, but I am going to ask anyway.
Would it be possible for Fluther to have a card shop, for use just within the site? I don’t know anything about programming. Would it be technically possible?
Designs could be submitted and voted in or down.
I wanted to send a get well to our bat beleaguered friend. I have seen events in long past Fluther activity which tells me there are other events, marriage, illness, loss of loved ones, to which the majority would like to express themselves.
I would like to know if it could be done, maybe as an option when sending a private message, and how do regulars feel about the idea.
I welcome feedback from all.

The owners of the site have been very clear; no new development of any kind. There are some fluther items available on zazzle.com plus a way of customizing items, including stationery, I bet. You could design your own “get-well” card there.
Laughs, I finally inspired something. I found My Special Purpose. Think Steve Martin.
When you get to the zazzle.com site, type “fluther” into their search engine.
I think there are already more than enough cards on this site (myself included).
Yes, but I can’t send you to be opened, and cheer someone, silly pachyderm!
True, @Here2_4. But then, the postage for me would be impossibly high.
Or maybe a combination Shoe Store/Yogurt Shop. ;)
So, I’m guessing you aren’t interested?
^ It doesn’t matter whether we are. I like the idea, but Fluther is not being developed anymore.
Might just work…your card has been declined oops!
you mean like a trading card game? Fluther Yugioh?
@ragingloli You’ll never get your hands on a holographic dxs!
Your thinking may be too limited here.
Fluther could have a flag, could lobby for legislation in Congress, could even have a Moon base – hell, a Mars base! – if only someone would pay for it and do the development work.
If you know that person, then the possibilities open up. Even so, once the idea is in place, the cash is available and the owner of the site is willing to see it implemented, the thing still needs to be executed, and hopefully better than the medical exchanges for Obamacare.
If you’re just asking, “Can someone install a this or a that for me in Fluther?” then the answer is “No.”
I asked once. I certainly don’t feel a beating is in order.
I am Fluther’s card.
I am not for sale.
