Not legally, but there are a number of non-profits that promote women in business such as WomenVenture, Cataylst, and many, many more.
Yes. I hear talking heads on cable news frequently mention their organizations whose purpose is to promote women entering and advancing in the careers you mention. I also hear women who have broken through the glass ceiling, like Carly Fiorina and Nancy Pelosi, who encourage women to help each other up the ladder.
I don’t know why there would be anything illegal about successful women advising other women how to enter and succeed in various careers.
Some girls don’t really give each other encouragement they always have to find a reason to talk about someone they never have anything nice to say . That’s why I really don’t hang out with a lot of my friends I just hang out with my real friends that I can trust.
I don’t think women are given ‘special encouragement’ per se in every place, every business, every sector. I think that there are still many barriers for women, but that’s not to say that we can’t breach them. There are however organisation out there that do support women but in isn’t as global as I think it should be…as yet.
