Massaged.
I dig massage, the harder the better, no featherweight touch for me. Harder, faster, oooh baby. lol
If it’s itching, scratch me. If it’s aching, rub me. That simple.
Scratched now, then rubbed later…
You might have something there, @Araphel
A good back scrubbing is awesome; but no matter how flexible one is, the pressure just isn’t as good as when someone else scrubs. I prefer a scrubbing to a scratching, because with regular scrubbing exfoliation, I don’t get anywhere as itchy as I used to.
Nowadays, my knots have knots, so a good massage is wonderful, and necessary with the spasms I get. So I’d choose massage over scratch or scrub.
If I had to pick one, I’d go with massaged. I carry all of my stress in my upper back and neck, so I need massages to help keep the muscled from getting too tight. I love having my back scratched too though, so I’d rather keep getting both and not have to pick just one.
Massaged. My left shoulder blade is fused to my back due to an injury I got in a car accident a few years ago (part of the reason I never came back to Fluther), and now I have appointments to tear it away weekly. I could do with a serious rub down.
Violent scratching. When I look for a potential mate I look at the boobs and then the fingernails.
I want a massage. I can do sufficient scratching myself.
I like a massage.
To be honest I find all touch pleasant. Sign me up!
I’m all for massage, but the person has to have some clue what they are doing. A bad massage leaves me worse off than no massage at all.
@elbanditoroso I can’t imagine a bad one. I’ll take any you’re leaving on the table. :-)
@LuckyGuy – You must have missed this episode of “Friends.”
To answer the question, a massage if done by a professional, scratching by anyone with adequate nails that can miss the mole by my shoulder blade.
Generally I would say massage, but if the person knows how to do it right, then I prefer scratching.
I’m a born scratcher. My nails come to the very end of my digits, regardless of how short I cut them.
Not that I’m shabby in the massage department. I combine the two…Massage down the back, then lightly scratch back and forth to the top. Fingertips, knuckles, palms and hand heels all give totally different massage effects.
It depends. If my back is itching then I would want it scratched. If I just wanted to relax and go for the feel good effect, then I would want my back massaged, firmly, but not too rough.
I enjoyed just reading your description, @ibstubro, so I know I wouldn’t. ..
