What is the difference between JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley?

Do they offer the same services? I researched and a lot of people said that JP Morgan focuses on commercial banking and Morgan Stanley focuses on investment banking, stocks, etc.

I went to their sites and they seem to do pretty much the same thing?
