How do you record streaming audio for free on a mac?

i have been using audio hijack which works wonderfully; however, it is not free. thus, i would greatly appreciate any advice from the flutherians as to how this is accomplished for free on the mac. thanks!

Look for FreeMusicZilla. It works great for me and you can copy streams off of any site.
