In China we use QQ and Wechat to communicate with each other, so what do you use in America to chat with each other? Thanks!

I don’t think I understand the question right, but websites people commonly use to chat on are Facebook, AOL (AIM), Yahoo! Messanger, Skype, and Google chat.
Omegle is for chatting with strangers.
I don’t know about the US but Viber is good in the UK and I know it works in China also.
A lot of international students in the US use WhatsApp because they are familiar with it at home and because they can message people at home too.
Here we use Viber or Zalo for free phone call and chat. I don’t know much about QQ but I guess it is similar to the apps I mentioned.
For chatting with friends: Kik seems pretty cool, as well as Whatsapp, but living in China I can tell you they are inferior to WeChat which is a great software.
