Where would you rather be this weekend? Bermuda, or on the Big Island of Hawaii?
Hurricanes both places. If you had to be in one place or the other, which is the best island in which to be inundated?

The thought of laying on a nice secluded beach covered in black volcanic sands sounds like complete and utter bliss, yes I’d go with Hawaii.
Bermuda. For some reason I think of Atlantic hurricanes as more menacing. I don’t know why. I think I have The perfect storm on my brain. Its anniversary is near.
I’m fascinated by weather events and weather phenomena. My passion for photography and extreme weather events has me hoping for a chance to capture that perfect moment. A visit to Bermuda is also on my bucket list.
I’d go with the Big Island of Hawaii because it has a lot more variety of terrain so there would be more places to be safe. This is presuming the hurricane is big enough that you want to get away from it. I speculate that Hawaii would be the safer choice.
If the hurricane is moderate then the windward side of either one would be interesting. Like @jonsblond I’d be watching the monster waves smashing themselves into glorious jets and sprays on the shore and watching the trees bending with the wind.
