Why isn't this junk program showing up in my install/uninstall programs list?

Some programs will not show up in the registry and will also not show up in “programs and features” You can navigate to the folder the shortcut is linking to and delete it. If you can’t figure out where it came from run a virus scanner (from the web) just to be safe. If you delete it and it comes back or cannot manually delete it, it could be malicious.

It showed up when I downloaded AVI this morning.

I bet it was bundled with it. That’s common. Do you mean AGV?

That’s weird. I opened it. It doesn’t do anything. Just a white screen.

Thanks. AVG has been bugging me to down load them anyway. You just never know what’s safe and what isn’t. I have Malware, so I figured I didn’t need anything else.
