Are Adobe charging different prices depending on which browser you use?

Asked by Lightlyseared (34907points) October 18th, 2014

The price Adobe are quoting for Creative Cloud accounts seems to be different depending on which browser I view them with. In chrome they are quoting £8.49/month for the photography bundle while if I view the page in IE they quote £7.47. The prices of their other plans are also lower when I view the page in IE. Both times I’m signed in with my Adobe account.

Is it just me that’s getting this? And are other companies charging different amounts depending on the browser?

I know Americans think it should be “is Adobe” not “are Adobe” but then I’m not American and as far as I’m concerned it looks wrong

I have just tested this using both browsers and it gave me the same price; £8.78/month. Perhaps IE has cached an old page?

(I’m American but picked up the institution/plural-verb thing from people I worked with. It appeals to me because it makes logical sense, it’s a group of people not a single thing.
I work in data processing and I use plural verbs with the word “data”, too.)
