Under your blanket, at home, never, at a certain place or time? What gives you that sense of security?

Home, in bed, with my husband and my dogs.
Never. Nowhere is safe, just safer. I was so naive to believe in safety, but I bet most children are.
When I a ensconced in my command chair, with a ferocious guard cat sleeping on my lap the fire going and the snow falling outside. PROVIDED, I have the remote handy and have urinated so I dont have to disturb the cat.
In my warm cozy bed with my 2 cats flopped on top of me. haha
When my mom is around I feel safe.
As an aging adult, I don’t feel completely safe anywhere, any time. And what frightens me even more than the non-stop stream of horrific news brought to my front door by TV and the Internet about pandemics, terrorism, climate change, the miserable state of our government and all the rest is the increasing fragility of my mind and body—which almost undoubtedly will do me in a lot sooner than Ebola, ISIL, a Republican senate or any of my other fears.
Hey when you find such a mythical place send me the address. I’d like to visit it at least once in my life.
I feel safe and secure when I’m 100 percent in control of a situation.
Can’t say I’ve ever felt 100% safe, but to be honest, I get this weird enjoyment out of knowing there is always some kind of danger. Guess that’s part of the reason I travel. I like being put in situations I’m not used to. Hell I’m living in a Central American country right now and don’t even speak Spanish :P
@jonsblond Does that ever truly happen?
snugglin with the missus. God’s in His heaven——
I feel 100% safe when I’m snuggled up in bed with my husband. Then I hear a noise and he takes so long to get up and investigate… but I do feel safe when he’s there.
Never. I am always anxious that something is about to go wrong.
