I don’t know the correct terminology. My house has a radiant barrier that blocks my cell phone signal both the phone and data. Is there a way to bounce the signal through the house somehow?

You use the hotspot function on your device.
I think you need a commercial license from the FCC to re-broadcast cell-phone signals.
Hotspot function creates WiFi connectivity from the phone, so it’s not like you have stronger cell-phone signals.
Yes, you can install a simple signal amplifier that will rebroadcast the signal from outside. I’m using one right now.
Contact your cellphone provider Verizon and T-Mobile offer a repeater.
That you can simply buy on amazon.
I use a Network Extender inside my home. It connects to the internet, and allows me to use my cell phone throughout the property. Verizon should have to pay me for this, but they don’t.
Thanks. I hadn’t heard the term repeater before, I think that is what I need. I hope I can get a decent signal near a window? It still is inside the house, is that right?
Depending on the model some will have an external directional antenna that you point at the nearest tower. I am using one here in the office. Those are more expensive and trickier to install. Most in the sub $100 range will be a simple repeater/amplifier that you place in the best spot inside. Repeating 3g is straight forward 4g can get complicated.
Att has a microcell device that routes your 3G signal through your wireless router.
However, if you have or are getting an iPhone 6, it will automatically route your cell signal through wifi if there is poor cell service.
I should mention that my Network Extender doesn’t give great Cell Phone service, since sometimes the conversation has delays, like you were talking over a radio set. It is perfect for us, though, since we use Texting quite a bit.
@Silence04 My cell phone will switch to my wireless router too. I always thought it was using it for data. Is it using it for phone calls and texting too?
I think the feature I’m speaking of is only on the new phones
