How many here have you been accused by family or friends of wasting your time here?
Upon discovery that you participate on flutter, has a variant of the derisive command “get a life” been hurled your way?

They did, but now I’ve eliminated them.
Problem solved. Very convenient!
My family gives me “that look”. And sighs.
I wasted years of my life on a prior website. This one? not so much. I find it boring and maybe spend 15min a day if that much.
Oh yeah! But I try to be here when either winding down for the day or when Mrs Squeeky is at work.
No one, because no one knows I’m here yet.
@Mimishu1995 Your answer brings up another question. Do you think that those who don’t know you’re here would recognize you from your answers, or for that matter, your questions?
None. No one knows I’m here.
No one knows I come here. No one knows where I spend most of my time online. Not because it’s secret, but because it’s thoroughly uninteresting.
@stanleybmanly: That’s an excellent question. I think it should be posted as a new question, for those who may not see it who may not have come to this thread. It’s one I often ponder as I answer or think about previous answers. It’s the main reason I don’t tell many people to come here. The ones I do tell to come here are ones who I don’t know very well and who it won’t matter if they do figure out who I am. Best friends, coworkers, family and neighbors I especially don’t want to figure out who I am.
The way this question is worded, genuinely hurts my head.
Nah! being friendless has its perks!!
Nobody, ever. I don’t share much with others, other than to occasionally mention a Q&A site and discussion forum I frequent. Other than my daughter who is a member too but rarely around. Personally I could give a flyin’ f—k what others think. I’m very much a MYOB type of gal. haha
Nobody has said that. I think my husband has called it Flutter, but it’s my downtime/relaxation thing and as long as it’s not affecting my time with them or my life negatively, they don’t care. I ask my husband for input on obscure questions and he will say ‘is this a Fluther question?’ and give me ‘that’ look. And then he gives me his point of view.
I refer to Fluther as “That Q&A site I go to on the internet.” Mostly I re-ask the interesting questions or answers. I do the same with NPR so they likely believe it’s one and the same.
Disclaimer: Both have gotten the ¼ moon eye-roll before.
I accuse myself. I spend too much time here!
Not really & it’s not a secret. I like some people here more than the site itself.
