Oh god, I could write a book. This place I work in is insane. Where’s symbeline when we need her?
Who’s symbeline? Is that name of some person?
She was a jelly with a great appreciation of the supernatural. She left a bit ago.
I had something look into the door of my office. It wasn’t a person, and there was nothing in the hallway when I checked. And I’ve heard stuff in here I cannot explain. So tell me what u think it was?
Nope, never. Although a couple times with my ex I swear it felt like time shifted which was extremely strange for the both of us. It never happened again, I think maybe we were overanalyzing it?
When I was 17 years old, I stepped out of my car at night. While I was locking the door, I heard a rustle of leaves by my feet and I looked down. To my horror, I discovered a half of an English muffin resting on my foot. Since there was nobody around, the only possible explanation was that I was being attacked by an English muffin.
Does that count?
^^
only if the English muffin was buttered. :)
Never personally, but I have heard several accounts from people I trust and believe. That is, I believe their observations, not necessarily their psychologically primed interpretation of those observations.
I was staying over with some friends. There were a lot of girls in a small apartment, but for a little while nobody was in a certain bedroom. When I went to open the door to that bedroom, a huge dresser had been moved close to the door, and just under the handle. Two of us had to push on the door to get the dresser out of the way. When we opened the door, nobody was in there.
@snowberry That started out sounding a lot like the beginning of the Narnia series!
Coincidences, yes. Paranormal activity, no.
Yes. However, that doesn’t mean I believe in ghosts. It just means that I can’t explain some of it. I also won’t go into details because Fluther can be kind of unforgiving sometimes and I don’t want to be labeled as delusional. :P
I heard quite a number of paranormal things throughout my life, and still hear them although not as many times as during childhood. Sounds of people talking, open the water taps, calling your name!, etc. So far, I have not seen any paranormal phenomenon.
@citizenearth I don’t mean to be rude, but how can you be sure this is the paranormal you are hearing, and not benign auditory hallucinations?
It’s gut feelings. Suddenly felt eerie upon hearing those paranormal activities. Sometimes could felt the presence of paranormal things although cannot see them.
