My mobile phone has a lot of emails I need to delete out of my gmail account and it does not have a “select all” or anything of that sort to delete them all at once. Any suggestions?

To the left of your delete key there might be a check box to select or unselect all messages. Depends on your service.
This might apply to you, but might not— be sure you’re deleting from the “All Mail” folder, not the “Inbox” folder. If you delete from the Inbox, it doesn’t really delete the mail, it only archives and is still there.
I have an iPhone and when I swipe each message towards the left, a red box will appear that says “delete” or “archive.” If I see “archive,” I go back to the main list and find “All Mail,” go into that, and the same messages will be visible. I swipe left, see “delete” and tap on that. That actually gets rid of messages.
Get access to a PC and log on to your G-mail account and you can do a page at a time. check the box and a trash cah can shows up, yes you have to delete the trash.
its not going to happen. the next time you log into the account it will re-sync all messages.
