How many withholdings should i claim on my w-4?

I have a spouse that stays home, we typically do married filing jointly. We have 4 kids. What should I put on my w-4 to best break even? We usually want as much each paycheck as we can get.

I'd go with 6. But if you discover, at the end of the year, that you are due a large refund, then increase the number of dependents on your withholding form.
