Rather than ask a general question here, why not go online and look at listings for positions available in Red Deer?
@janbb I was just wondering. I am on disability for now. I might try to work casually as a spokesman for mental illness.
One “pays one’s dues” in the working world by working and putting in focused labor on doing the best one can. Showing up for work on time each day, being in good spirits, working hard, and striving to be better.
It doesn’t mean one or two places in particular, you pay your dues where you are.
Almost any business there are positios where one can pay ones dues. in a restaurant peiple can start as busboys, at a large corporation you can start in a mailroom, in a grocery store you can bag groceries and help people load their car. The list goes on and on. I think you should work in a job where you interact with the public. You have a great wit, and I think people would enjoy your humor and gift for gab, even if it is a very brief interaction like working at a grocery store.
Regular job, where you start at the bottom and overtime advance to the top. Hopefully.
