DVD recommendations please, I forgot the one I wanted?
lawrence of arabia is all I watch, punctuated by the blade runner. I had one in mind not a 4 hour epic but with the same sentiment. Galipogi was good as they made me watch it in 9–12. Oh and I don’t really watch so it’s a popular common one and an old one that I know what’s going on as I come in and out of the room with video. thanks

Hmm. It’s difficult to follow what you’re asking for. Am I right in guessing that you are looking for a specific film that you know very well, but can’t remember the title of? And that it’s an epic film (a la Lawrence of Arabia OR Blade Runner), but you don’t recall the genre at all (could be historical or science fiction)?
I think you’ll have to give us some more information. It’s easy to google “epic films”, but it’s harder to guess your specific epic if we don’t know what the genre was. Can you maybe remember who was in it, or any other details?
In the meantime, here are a couple of randomly selected epics for your enjoyment:
Doctor Zhivago
The Fifth Element
Spartacus
the man who would be king.
Samurai Cop.
Thunderpants.
The Shouji Tabuchi Show.
If you are looking for something long and epic and marvelous to watch, go with the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I apologize i was narrating the last few days of my life trying to give all an idea of my mindset. I realize that isn’t enough to divine my needs. Ive reviewed all suggestions and they are agreeable. No worries my senses will come back to me in a few weeks. Hopefully that film that I so want in my media library will too. Closing the thread. Cheers
@osoraro I got that to watch many, many years ago. My wife has still not let me forget that I “made” her sit through it.
It was an excellent movie, even she admits that, but almost three hours of subtitles was too much for her taste!
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
@osoraro Gee, I thought I had a response, but looks not. I will get that on Kindle and a hardcopy
