I’m on the right side of the fucking grass right now. Let you know in a few days. And also we’re not supposed to use fuck in the question. It reflects bad on fluther in the web community.
Third wife left me for a Satanic High Priest who downloaded his kiddy porn onto my Googa Drive which ended up with me sittin’ in the pokey next to smiling Bubba. Lost my house and cars. Reputation a bit tainted too. Dog ran away. Cat died.
Kids won’t visit me in prison cause I’m now known as “the perv”. Hemorrhoids are flaring and really making my sphincter crawl. Bubba thinks he can help me with that. But I just can’t consider anything else until this nasty rash relents from the rear of my scrotum. Damned ozone depletion at the top of my scalp dumps what’s left of my youth down the cell drain every morning. Bubba gets jiggy when I reach down to save it. He wants to wash my back.
Other than that, things are purty good.

Not good…feeling unappreciated at my job, and made a really stupid mistake today that could have messed things up with a friend…
I’m good. Starting to feel one pressure lift (money) as another descends (time). Glad to see you back alive.
I have an enlarged heart, enlarged ascending aorta, a large gastroesophageal hernia, possible sleep apnea, shortness of breath and chest pains. I’m waiting to see a cardiologist to find out why my heart and aorta are enlarged, and I’m waiting to see my pulmonologist for more testing for sleep apnea. I’m tired all the time, I have no energy and I often feel lightheaded. I hate to just talk about my health right now, but it has taken over my life the past few months. I don’t feel like the energetic jonsblond who hates sitting still. I hate it.

I’m good. I’m just at the end of a number of deadlines and about to start on the next but Christmas is coming, my health is good, my husband and my kids are all well. My dogs are old but fit as fiddles, my cat loves me (in his own way). Summer is here and the sun is shining. Plus I just saw a job I might be interested in. I’m wavering on whether to apply but you know when you get that butterfly feeling in your gut and think ‘this could be really good for me’, I’m there and thinking about it.

And @jonsblond, I hope the doctor has good news for you and this is something they can resolve quickly and successfully. Sending you hugs and the hope for a much better 2015.

You are so right @josie. This sounds odd, but I have an appointment with my life coach in a few hours. I’m going to talk to her about it. I’m at a sort of natural break in my career and yes, now might be just the right time to put out feelers and see what I find. It’s not a specific ‘job’, but a change in a large organisation that connects in very closely with what I’ve been doing for the last few years.
So what are you up to? How’s your adventure?

Not to contradict myself, but I am about adventured out for a while. I think I might learn to paint or something. Something peaceful.
@josie…I did and everything is fine (he’s great that way), but I’m just mad at myself (and my stupid phone) for creating what could have been a very awkward situation.
Painting is an adventure. I think we all need a creative outlet as well as more intellectual pursuits. We need to be well-rounded across a whole range of areas. I haven’t painted for so long, but I find it fun and therapeutic. I hope you’ll share some of your pieces with us as you produce them.

Still managing to get out of school mess. Take up creating memes and short comics on the way. Saw two new jellies from my country and (unsuccessfully) managed to get them stay here. Got to see a jelly’s face and some of their stuff.

I’m good, just hoping I can correct my knee bio-mechanics before I do a half-marathon with obstacles in just over a week. I haven’t run in nearly two months, so it’s going to be pretty interesting.

I’m good. I’m on vacation in Orlando for 7 nights, total right now. This is night 3. We did Sea World yesterday and Magic Kingdom today. Enjoying nice weather and a free upgrade on hotel room, free upgrade on rental car, and just enjoying not being at work and dealing with regular schedule and stress.

Hi @josie! I’m good and bad. Loving the Florida weather. Ate at a new restaurant last weekend that was very enjoyable. I still love living in my apartment. I saw a bunch of my friends from where I used to live a couple weeks ago in Daytona.
The bad is I’m building a house and have some pretty significant concerns about the grading around the house, I have a lot if regrets surrounding the house endeavor (too many to list) and I hate that I am not excited about what should be a happy thing. Rather I am extremely stressed about making wrong decisions. This is the 5th house I have built and it has never been like this. This builder is killing me and through the whole process I have oscillated about taking legal action. It’s awful.
I’m feeling well, thank you. I’ve been encircling my tongue on corpses…

Right now i’m just terrible. The only thing that would make it worse is if I suddenly got terminal cancer. It would be totally freakin hilarious to me if that actually happens next week….or so. I am depressed and we are legion-!
( just don’t know anybody else in the legion…but i’m sure i’m not the only one and so my heart goes out to others in the legion. It’s terrible. )

Pretty good, had a few health issues about a month ago, feeling fine again now. Getting ready to head down to the horse barn to get a jump on some chores and soak in the sunshine. A mind blowingly lovely afternoon, 75 degrees and leaves falling.

@Josie Someone I know very well had both his knees replaced several years ago. He’s been athletic all his life, and the new knees allow him to continue the lifestyle. He’s pushing 70 and still playing softball in a senior league.

Man, that moon, 6:12 on the west coast and it just rose above the timberline, I can see the silhouettes of the Ponderosa pines at the base of this golden beauty. Okay, back to our beer and porch sitting.
@Coloma: If and when I take my next trip to Cali, I’m definitely coming to visit. I don’t want the “special” brownies, just regular ones with walnuts, thank you. I’d love to hang on the ranch and see the view. To me, Cali is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
I am exhausted! lol
Been working my behind off the last 6 days and am now on a cooking jag to set up dinners for us all for the week. Sunday I made a huge pot of my killer spaghetti sauce, yesterday I made steak sandwiches and oven baked fries for dinner, plus, a crock pot full of Minestrone soup and another one of BBQ’d chicken. I JUST finished setting up another crock pot of veggie chili, we have enough food around here to sink the Titanic.
This chili is going to be amazing!
Special seasonings, scads of red, yellow and orange bell peppers, fresh, soaked overnight, pinto beans, loads of onions, kidney beans, fire roasted salsa, garlic, green chilis, diced tomatoes and Newcastle Brown beer. I am going to make flour tortilla chips to go with it tomorrow. Oh man, my ass is expanding just thinking about it. haha
@Coloma: How many people do you live with?
@jca My friends, a husband and wife. They travel a lot so I take care of most of the meals, we cook together fairly often too. :-)
