What percent of the 1% are Democrat or Republican?

New York Times says 58% of the 1% are Conservative or Republican

It’s all BS though to keep us distracted from noticing the wealthiest interests own the NYT and most of both the Republican and the Democrat members of Congress, for all practical purposes.

What difference does it make, since they own both parties? One party all but admits it, and profits handsomely thereby. The other puts up a sad pretense of resistance, and suffers the ridicule of all concerned.

Believe me the 1% don’t give a shit about the left or right. They care if you buy into the dichotomy or not.
