Thyroid meds.
Vitamin D, B12, and iron.
Just extra strength Aspirin, once and a while for bad head aches.
No prescription drugs at all.
Let me put it this way. Walgreen declares a stockholder dividend every time I refill a prescription.
Vitamins and some herbal supplements and the occasional Tylenol arthritis formula, not excluding a few bi-monthly cocktails, and a wee bit o’ the herbal essence, which works much better on my frozen fingers than the damn Tylenol. lol
Daily, coffee. 365 days a year.
@hug_of_war Why do you ask? Looking to invest in a certain drug?
I do take some supplements like D3 and a probiotic. OTC I sometimes take benadryl when allergies get me. No prescription meds though.
SuperexpensiveHorriblesideeffectsuvia.
Last night I enjoyed 3 doses of Goose Island Honkers Ale. Nothing like the magic goose to cure what “ales” you. lol
I like @Coloma‘s meds. Theres a pub in my city called The Goose. You would approve. And to answer the OP i am on testosterone which I get as an injection four times a year.
Resvaratrol (active ingredient in red wine)
Betasitosterol (active ingredient in sol palmetto)
Co Enzyme Q10
Vitamins D, E, C
Aspirin
Glucosamine Condroitin
I don’t want to say exactly which ones, but I’m on multiple for depression and anxiety.
Tonight is my Saturday night Epsom salt bath, candlelight, and a little smokum’ the peace pipe on the porch while my tubby runneth over. Then, when my poor aching muscles and frozen hands are adequately lubricated and soaked, I shall have just enough energy left to go forth into the big kitchen and slice myself some blackberry pie. lol
@Misspegasister28 Whenever a doctor prescribes a drug for me to take he/she had better be prepared to discuss it with me.
My family practice doctor prescribed Lorazepan 0.5mg twice a day for my “anxiety problem”. He made that diagnosis after spending 5 minutes with me. He simply said take it or leave it. I’ve never taken it. But now that diagnosis is permanently part of my medical record. Also I challenged my cardiologist’s justification for taking Metroprolol 6.25 mg twice a day. It is usually prescribes for people with high blood pressure but my BP is lower than normal. He to told me that it will help my heart to beat better. But my heart is beating very well without it. He eventually concurred and said that I could discontinue Metroprolol therapy.
@gondwanalon Really? That’s a little strange… 5 minutes is not enough to diagnose something, and why would they prescribe a high-blood pressure medicine to someone who has a low BP?
My mom sees this doctor for depression also. Both my parents have depression (and I was the only one out of three kids who got it- just my luck!) So he asked me what medicines my parents are on and if they’re working for them. I also see a counselor.
in this pretty straightforward question, how is it that someone would answer four times within twenty posts? Time to change their meds.
@zenzen Because questions prompt discussion/conversation, what’s wrong with that?
