Is my nose suppose to be so runny after a fresh nose piercing?

I just got my nose pierced today and it seems to be so much more drippy & runny. Is it suppose to be this way?

Yes go get some antibiotic creme and swab it on there .

Uh—you had a hole bored into some extremely sensitive facial real estate. I think you’re lucky to only have a runny, drippy proboscis. Do what @trailsillustrated suggests, and if the discomfort continues for more than a few days see a doctor.
