Hell no! For torture, maybe…
YYIIiiiiii! Uh No I keep them warm and snug .
Yes. I not only buy them from Costco (walnuts, 3 lbs, about $18) and freeze them, but I just returned from a vacation where the guy in the kitchen gave me more than a cup a day. I bagged the extras up, took them home, and now they’re in the freezer, too. I value my nuts and don’t want to be eating rancid nuts.
@jca I’m with you – I don’t want to be eating rancid nuts either.
First response: Of course not! In brief, I prefer my nuts in trunks.
Real answer, yep. I even like to eat a frozen pecan or two occasionally. I find that they keep forever.
Tsk, tsk, some of you have your minds in the gutter…never catch me doing that <smirks>
I just try to keep them clean. Freezing them seems like it would be counter(re)productive.
Ooooooo… Did I hear somebody say PEANUTS ???
@ucme YOU?? never your as pure as the first winter snow,NOT!
Yes to nuts in the freezer!
BOY you women are just plain MEAN, your poor husbands.LOL.
No, I eat them too fast. haha
Occasionally Walnuts for baking, but I am a nut-a-holic and gobble up tons of almonds, cashews, pistachios every month.
No, she won’t fit. Buh-dump, bump. (It had to be done.)
I keep shelled pecans in the freezer.
I go through a packet of mixed nuts every four days or so there is no need.
@SQUEEKY2 Everytime you end your sentences like that I think of the scene in Borat where he takes the piss outta the old comic guy…”Not”
No, we do not hide family members, not even those who are not all there. Which is fortunate because I would probably fall into that category. Most of them are still semi-productive members of society.
We do, however, have several bags of shelled pecans in the freezer all in bags with the date collected written on them (and at this time they go back five years).
[NSFW] I keep them attached and in a warm and covered location.
