Do you still use spaghetti code , like QBasic?

Where do I find others who still use QBasic?

@talljasperman Sorry I didn’t know that spaghetti code was a pejorative. My teacher called it that and I did not look it up.

Spaghetti code is a term for poor programming technique. Qbasic is an antiquated language. Basically nobody uses it anymore. It was one of the first languages I learned and was quite useful back in the day. I’d learn something modern like Java. You can do a lot more with it.

@ARE_you_kidding_me My mistake. I will look into taking Java again.

QBasic, to the best of my knowledge, is only ever used to teach the basics of programming.. and rarely even that any more. There was a time when it was relevant, but once Windows became a full-fledged OS as opposed to merely a shell for MS-DOS, that time went away.

Personally, I haven’t used QBasic since the last time I needed to edit an AUTOEXEC.BAT file…. so, about a decade.

I actually still use batch files. They’re quite handy.

.BAT file They are still good for automating certain things in Windows.
