Nerds rule.

Smartest. That tough stuff doesn’t do shit for you in your after school years.

Well, I graduated second in my high school, but had my ass kicked (physically and emotionally) from first through eighth grade. So yeah, I picked “almost” smartest. :^(

Smartest. My high school class only had smart students. And I would have been totally fine if they hadn’t been arrogant and wicked too.

I was both the toughest and the smartest for a time… neither are useful now.

I’m going with toughest. I wouldn’t want any of the jobs the smartest kid is qualified to do and the toughest gets chicks and respect. Toughest 100%.

I agree with @kritiper for the same reason.

@Esteban1 “and the toughest gets chicks and respect.”
<laughing> Yeah, good luck with that.

The smartest. Every time.

And I’ve always found intelligent men very sexy. Even when I was at school. Thugs never appealed.

The smartest ,then have the toughest work for me.

The toughest.

School for me was all about survival. Being smart didn’t do me a damn bit of good.

jerv's avatar

I’m going to go toughest simply because I was the smartest and would like a change of pace.

However, @kritiper is correct that it doesn’t do you any good once you graduate.

Definitely brains over brawl.

@FutureMemory said. Definitely the toughest. Used my smarts later, when it mattered.

Meh, I settled for what I got, the sexiest fucker on the block…with great beauty comes great modesty.

The smartest.
It is the smart people that push humanity forward scientifically, technologically, and socially.
Brainless meatheads do the opposite and are only good as the bitch in prison.

I was the smartest. Or maybe second smartest, it doesn’t matter.

I was tall enough and strong enough that people didn’t give me shit. I don’t think I was in a fight during my K-12 years because I was so tall.

I think a lot of jellies may have been the most arrogant if not the smartest or toughest. Jeez. “I was the smartest” – lots of valedictorians ‘round here.

I was pretty smart in that I made good grades. I don’t think being good at taking tests necessarily makes one “smart,” though. I certainly wasn’t tough, but didn’t really need to be. If I had to pick one, I’d go with smartest, just because being the toughest would probably only get me into a lot of trouble. The discipline office was a place I never frequented in school. Plus, toughness doesn’t get you into a decent college.

Now I think I’m tough and smart, but not the -est of either. Well, maybe not tough, but strong for a woman of my size. :)

I was tough. Since when is tough supposed to mean aggressive? I was tough, I was smart. I got lots of teasing and hassle over the years. I was tough enough, and smart enough to be okay anyway.
Tough doesn’t have to mean aggressive, nor does it have to mean physical.
I wasn’t the “est” either. I am okay with that. If I had to choose, I guess I would go with smartest.
