What is your take on the congresswoman who blames Obamacare for her husband's death?
Article here.
Cynthia Lummis says he had trouble when he tried to go through the exchange. Why would he have even considered going through the exchange when they already had the best insurance there is, and probably for free?

Sorry, I didn’t read the full article. It sounds like she has a problem with ACA. Fine. Who doesn’t? Now, will she get working on a universal single-payer healthcare system?
But she had no reason to go through the exchange! They already had insurance!
From your article: “Members of Congress are required to get their health insurance from the Obamacare exchanges under a part of the law authored by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).”
What isn’t clear is whether the Congresswoman’s husband declined the test (which she implies might have prevented his death) for financial considerations. The article gives the impression that her husband considered himself ineligible for testing because he wasn’t covered by Obamacare. If this is indeed the case, there might be some credence to the slip of the tongue involving stupid Americans. One glance at the slugs governing us is all it takes for me to be convinced.
Obviously a lunatic. Obviously a Republican.
The poor woman has provided a national obituary on the tragic death of her husband with the open declaration “My husband did something stupid that may have cost him his life.” It doesn’t seem to me to be the sort of thing that a smart woman would want to announce in public.
If they couldn’t get through the exchange in 4 years…well, that explains why they’re in congress.
@stanleybmanly They had 17–20 million dollars. They were filthy rich. Not as rich as my cousin (heh heh!) but they were rich.
Congrats lady. You murdered your husband to score a political point. If you can make up shit I can too.
