Hey, he made it to 70, not bad for a hard partier, smoker and rock-n-roll animal.
He missed out on all the degrading ancient age stuff like dementia and diapers. Way to go Joe!

I saw him in concert in the late 70’s.

“Up Where We Belong” was the icing on the cake that was “An Officer and a Gentleman”.

“You are so beautiful to me”. He was one of a kind. Unique powerful voice. There will never be anyone like him. All we have now are the memories and his many records.

Got to see him in concert in Hawaii in early 70s. Great performer. Unique voice. Always remember him singing “Came in through the bathroom window ”
