So, I am not asking those who believe it is satirical. Although you could point at anything (TV show other movies) that are not, even if they are purported to be satirical.

But it is satirical. That’s the whole point. Otherwise it would mean that they’re seriously advocating for assassination (which they’ve made clear that they’re not.) it’s a comedy.
Who (other than the hypersensitive despot) is saying that it is not satirical?
@flo Since your requirements are so specific, please define for us what you feel defines satire.
@Buttonstc But the question is addressing those who see it as not satirical, I can’t imagine you are claiiming everyone with a brain has the exact same opinion.
Also, you can respond to th last sentence in the detail.
@dappled_leaves I am asking those who do not see it as satirical why they think so. Whether I think it is or it is not, is nowhere in the OP.
@flo I didn’t say that I think it’s satirical. It seems to me that in order for us to know whether we’re allowed to answer, we need to understand the question’s parameters.
What does “satire” mean to you?
Are you trying to ask why the North Koreans were offended?
@dappled_leaves and @janbb What is satire and what is not? Is this movie one or not? If not why not? The question could have/has been asked by many other people.
It’s not a difficult question, @flo. Why don’t you want to define satire?
Are you serious? I am asking you all out there that question. Do professors ask the students the definition of x when they are supposed to teach them the definition and examples of x and examples of non x?
So, do you not know what satire is?
Well, good luck, @flo. I think this thread will just add to your frustration.
“Why does one and one equal 2?”
“So, do you not know why one and one equals 2?”
@flo Well, yes, except that you are asking why one and one do not equal two.
And then you are telling all the people who believe one and one equal do two that they are not allowed to answer.
“Those of you who think one and one doesn’t equal 2, why not?”
“So, do you not know…..?
or
”...that in order for us to know whether we’re allowed to answer, we need….”
Yes.
I can’t imagine another sensible way to proceed, under the circumstances.
@dappled_leaves Far from “not allowed” see detail of OP. So, I guess I’ll take it you mean you believe it is not satiricaL
