Price, size of seat, distance between seats, free meals (not snacks or pricey sandwiches), free alcoholic beverages and priority seating to get on plane.
7000$ and the difference between sherry Netherland and motel 6.
It depends on which airline. On the larger national airlines in America first class gets to board the plane before coach. Once seated the flight attendant will usually offer to hang up your coat, while in coach you typically have to keep it with you in your seat or put it in the overhead compartment. In first class the flight attendant will also offer you a drink while you are waiting for everyone else to board. American Airlines used to also give you warmed nuts in a ceramic dish while you were waiting for everyone else to board. I don’t know if that is still what they do, they were doing that not too many years ago.
Once the flight reaches an altitude that the flight attendants can walk around they take your food order, usually a choice of two. Coach doesn’t get a meal on a typical flight say under 3 hours. I’m not sure if maybe coast to coast gets something. Coach often gets nothing to eat unless they pay extra for somensort of snack. Some airlines still provide peanuts or pretzles for free and you get a free non-alcoholic drink.
Often, there is a flight attendant that is tending to just first class, so you get much more attention and don’t have to wait long for service. First class has much fewer passengers than coach.
The seats in first class a larger, more leg room, and there is a bathroom for just first class, although once in a while coach uses it.
When the plane lands you get to be one of the first people off if you are in first class.
Some of the smaller airlines first class is just the bigger seat, more leg room, more personal attention, the bathroom close by, and some free snack items. Their upgrade to first class can be as cheap as $50 while on the larger airlines it usually is much much more expensive.
Nothing. Some seats might have more leg room and the food might be different but nothing to write home about. I once flew business class and the seats weren’t that much different than coach. Except you had your own cubicle and you could recline without bothering anyone behind you. If I could afford it I would fly business all the time.
