What is the most expensive item in the world?

Car, house, boat, collection, Football team, diamond, medical procedures, children, Student loans, artwork, divorce, ect.

Well you have to define it a bit more. By weight? By amount paid? By total cost for ever?

AS of the close of trading today, Apple Inc. is capitalized at $659 Billion. And it would take probably a 255 premium to but the whole company. So it would cost you about $825 Billion to buy.

A lot of people would say an ex spouse. Others would say kids.

@Adirondackwannabe Yes, those are priceless but they cost you nothing and the return on investment is immeasurable. And, even if someone offers to sell that to you, you’re getting a fake, not the real thing.

The Dow Jones Industrial is valued at About 24 trillion dollars.

Probably a new nuke powered attack sub or a new nuke powered aircraft carrier like the USS Ronald Reagan. I’m sure those NASA space shuttles were also well onto the Billions.
