If you were to give someone a single piece of advice for a more productive 2015, what would that be?
What single piece of advice would you give for someone to have a more productive 2015? Would you tell them get and learn to use a tablet PC, get an Android Smartphone, invest in a hybrid, start a savings account, etc.?

I’d advise them to identify the key, achievable goals they want to achieve during the year, and to actively sit down and plan how they can achieve them. So if they want to be healthier, what does that look like for them as an individual and to break down the steps they need to take every day to reach that goal.
If they want to be financially better off, what does that actually mean in achievable terms? Do they need to pay off their credit cards? How can they achieve that? What steps do they need to take?
Whatever their aspiration or goal, in whatever realm of their life, set some meaningful targets and then plan small steps that will allow them to reach their target.
I think it’s hard to give one piece of advice to suit all. Your example of starting a savings account is an example. I would assume that the majority of people already have some kind of bank account. If you don’t then yes, that’s a basic.
I think a good piece of advice that I will try to adhere to is something that some people may already surpass, and some people will find a reason not to do it. My advice is to help yourself feel better by taking a brisk walk at least three times a week.

Truly care about the things you set out to do. Without that, it’s really hard to accomplish anything.

In order to reach a goal or become more productive, one has to stop being lazy and stop being unmotivated.
