I got the chance to see it last night, and it’s easily the best horror film I’ve seen in years. It has outstanding performances, great atmosphere, a relatable story that’s genuinely moving, and I loved the significant lack of jump scares. Have you seen it? What did you think?

No, but I’ve been meaning to watch it.
I SWEAR, if it’s overrated like House of Leaves, I’m going to be pissed.
@rockfan, I saw it months ago. I thought it was alright. Yes, the performances are good and yes the story is suspenseful but I didn’t find it that scary. As a horror film, it didn’t really work for me and I found some of the plot points silly and irritating. I would give it a 7–8 out of 10.
In my opinion, I’ve read some really hyped responses to this film. I think the public relations must have been excellent.
@rockfan is going to get punched by @Michael_Huntington if the movie sucks.
Whaaaaaaaaat? I’ve never said that :^)
Now I just saw it. I thought it was pretty good. I specifically liked the homages to Evil Dead and Repulsion
Just saw it. Pretty good. I wish my TV showed the movies she got. Hard to find the Georges Méliès films on Dish.
