Do you mean “paraphrase”?
“The shows are booked to the hilt” means that there are no seats left. “To the hilt” is an idiom. You should be able to discover the meaning of all the other phrases or modified nouns with a few minutes’ work with your English dictionary.
They are straightforward.
@gailcalled But I find “booked to the hilt” is an odd phrase, don’t you? It’s a weird use for the “to the hilt” idiom. “Booked to the rafters” might be more à propos.
It’s odd in a vacuum, but it’s still an idiom. I did verify my initial intuitive understanding; I have not had time to check the etymology but can guess.”
