Do pro sports players ever wear watches?
If not, why not?
Why shouldn’t a pitcher wear a wristwatch? Would it hurt Tom Brady to know what time it is?

Not while playing. They could be broken and cause injury.
Long distance cyclists/athletes do, but that’s more to do with the stopwatch facility.
Tennis players & F1 drivers are required to wear their sponsors watch right before the trophy presentation/podium.
With stadium sports there is no need. Jumbotron tells the time.
Does anyone even wear watches at all anymore?
