What is on your wish list for this year?
If you can place 5–8 things that are possible or plausible, no wishing to have your dead dog back, or being able to fly like an eagle, but tangible things like a new car, jet, iPod, or things that you can do or earn such as a degree in paleontology, a new spouse, new job, pay raise, learning to ballroom dance, etc. what items would be at the top of your wish list?

Pretty much just quiting smoking.
But that is actually looking good. I moved three months ago. At my old place I could smoke inside so I just chained smoked at my desk. There were days where I was smoking two packs a day. Now I have to go outside to smoke and that is miserable. Now I am down to smoking about half a pack a day.
So I think I could switch over to the patch and that might be effective now.
I want to do something different with my life. Most of my early 20s were spent being broke all the time and being in the same stagnant relationship. Two and a half years ago, I finally caught a break and landed a job as a retail wine buyer. It’s definitely the foot in the door that will get me onto my chosen career path. But I’ve been working six days a week, helping elderly relatives, and living in the same boring suburb that I grew up in.
I’ve made a few changes in the last year or two, like getting out of the relationship, starting to save money, and buying my first car. My wish for 2015 is to finally move out of DC. A new job in a new city would be great! I also applied to manage the tasting room at a Virginia winery.
My oldest friend has been doing a program called wwoof, where you volunteer part time on farms in exchange for room and board. She’s traveled all over the country doing that and loved it. A few of them are wineries, and it could be the adventure I’ve been looking for. This spring or summer, I will probably have enough money saved up to make a move.
The same as every year, Pinky.
To be dead wrong about something that I am obsessively worried about.
I always hope for my chronic health problems to get better.
That the new pain in my left breast is nothing.
For the new pain in my left hip to be nothing.
For a legal problem to finally get resolved with a good outcome.
For the stress my husband and I have been going through to turn around. I really fear it is damaging us and I don’t know what to do.
That list sucks. All doom and gloom. Ugh. I read it and I can’t believe it.

@JLeslie Don’t sweat it too much. You’ve had some rough times. Things go in cycles.

Get past the current crisis, and move forward.

Discover something, like mining for valuable stuff, or finding an ancient burial site, or a cave nobody knew was there, which was once inhabited by humans.

I think I would also like to avoid flying, biting things.
I wish to meet Symbeline & tickle her underarms until she pees, go with the flow baby.
^ Leather leg fetters combined with a hog tie and an ostrich feather on the soles of her feet until she turns blue and green then up chucks is better.
Now stop that immediately, ya filthy fucka & don’t point, its the height of bad manners :D
