Have you photocopied every card in there?
Hand written the info down?
Card ‘rubbings’?

I have credit card numbers and info written elsewhere.
When I am at a gas station, I make sure my handbag or wallet is inside the car before pumping gas. I had a friend forget her handbag at a gas station, when she left it on top of the pump while she was pumping. To me, that’s the stupidest move anyone could make. Of course I couldn’t tell her that. I just make sure I throw it into the car before pumping so it’s not an issue.
When I am in a restaurant or public place, I always glance at the seats and table, or behind me as I leave, to make sure I didn’t leave anything behind.
I always put my wallet and keys in the same places, right front pocket or in a cabinet at home.
Thanks for the reminder. It’s been over a year since I last copied all the cards and ID in my wallet. It only takes a couple of minutes to do. I keep the copy in a safe place at home.
As for theft I tend to be hyper-aware when I am in unfamiliar territory. I remove all but the bare essentials and put the wallet in a front pocket where it would be difficult to remove.
I take pictures of my CC front and back and other ID cards and store them on my Android and uploaded to my Photobucket account so when the moment occurs that my wallet is lost or stolen I can immediately call in the missing CC’s.
No need to copy anything – I have online accounts for almost everything, and email records from the rest. I’m surprised people still feel the need to do this.
@dappled_leaves I find it convenient to have the all the info in one place and a copy is so handy. I am reluctant to keep everything online in case I am hacked.
I also copy license, registration, permits and health insurance cards.
