Did you ever buy from Skymall while on a plane?
Not anymore.
I used to read their catalogs while in my airline seat, but I never bought anything. Apparently neither did anyone else.

They had some cool stuff, but way to expensive.

No. I’m into good prices and I shop from Amazon or Costco mostly. I shop around and look for the best price and don’t usually pay for shipping.
No, the entire catalog is over-priced crappy gadgetry.
Except for the thousand-dollar giant Tiki head
Totally worth it.
@jaytkay – you bought a matched pair of the large ones?
@elbanditoroso Two would look silly. You need at least four to give your place the authentic Easter Island vibe.
No, but when I was doing a lot of flying for business I used to tear out pages of the items I thought I wanted or desperately needed ;-), thinking I would buy online when I got home. But all ll it took was a few hours on the ground to realize my “desperate need” was strictly a flighty reverie and I never ordered anything from Skymall that I can recall.
Back in the day I used to read that catalog and shake my head in wonder. Really? Does anyone need a vibrating bookshelf clock-radio combi? How about aluminum gloves? (specify size: 7, 8, 9)
It was for entertainment purposes only, certainly not for actual purpose.
Although, the chocolate covered baseball bat was quite tempting.
Once or twice over the years.
Come on, how many people are going to order a 6 foot tall lawn giraffe for $800? No wonder they’re in the red.
I always assumed Skymall was just for crazy people. Anyone with that kind of money should have better taste.
Never even heard of it.
Besides, I have not been on a plane since I was reincarnated in 2002.
