What would you do if you are called too clingy, too dependent on others and feel too sorry for yourself?

Ignore them.

I wouldn’t post anything back to whoever is saying that. That’s just gonna fuel the fire.

I like the saying….If one person says you’re a donkey, ignore it. If 10 people say you’re a donkey, buy a saddle.
If this is just one persons opinion, let it go, or, do some self examination. If many people have said these things to you it merits some personal growth work.

I’ve got to agree with @Coloma. I’d look in the mirror, figure out if what they’re saying is true, and respond accordingly.

I would wonder what I’ve been saying that wouid give that impression to somebody or whether they’re just talking out their ass.

I’d also be interested to see what their pattern of interactions with others has been like to see if they’re this accusatory in general.

The best antidote to stuff like that is having hobbies and interests of your own, whether or not it is true.

If it’s on a website, how do they really know if that’s what you are like? I agree with others here that I would think about the accusation and whether it applies to me. I’d also think about what I’ve been saying on the site that gave that impression. Is what you have been saying accurate, or have you been feeling a certain way lately that you’ve been posting certain things, but maybe that’s not how you are typically?

If on reflection I realized it was true, I would try to reverse the trend. None of that sounds very healthy to me.

On the other hand, how could a stranger on the web know that for certain about anybody.
Speaking for myself, people on this site have said all sorts of things about me that my friends and family would find baffling.
